Besides a sat phone, GPS, solar panels, global rescue system, video/photo equipment and water purifying (filtering/UV) systems, it is indispensable to have music, mosquito tolerance, sunscreen occasionally, be aware that security is priority, be detached from everything, focus on today seizing the day, and be uncertainty friendly. Not to mention, make it to the next town/village to refuel at least 3 liters of water and 6,000 calories worth of food.
