Leg 2: Tuktoyaktuk to Teslin.

August 12 to October, 2021.

Running for mental health.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Concordia University, JMK embarked on his first running journey, 4,654 km from Montreal to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico hoping the world would take a stand to improve our educational methods. Back in Canada in 2018, he had a snowboarding accident as a photographer where he shattered his femur in four pieces and had a compression fracture on his thoracic spine. Since then, he has been recovering and fighting mental health with the unconditional support of his life partner Iris A. Lomeli Lopez.
