On this expedition I'm living the impossible by crossing the continent on foot solo, running semi-barefoot and overcoming all the obstacles that this entails. The leisurely pace allows me to immerse myself into the cultures where I set foot and to know their crafts, cuisine, traditions and customs. It fascinates me sharing what I see, eat and learn, with the world through my social networks.
Besides a sat phone, GPS, solar panels, global rescue system, video/photo equipment and water purifying (filtering/UV) systems, it is indispensable to have music, mosquito tolerance, sunscreen occasionally, be aware that security is priority, be detached from everything, focus on today seizing the day, and be uncertainty friendly. Not to mention, make it to the next town/village to refuel at least 3 litters of water and 6,000 calories worth of food.
It is an unknown feeling, an impossible feeling for most people. It will for sure be the most incredible feeling I've ever experienced in my life, until the next adventure!
